Monday 23rd June - Folly Farm

We went to Folly Farm which was absolutely fantastic. Marianne really enjoyed herself and it was a lovely sunny day. This was the day that Reuben caught the sun! We saw all the farm and zoo animals (& fed the goats which was great fun), went on a tractor ride, played in the park, went on some of the funfair rides (Marianne and David especially liked the big wheel - too high for Mummy!!!), David and Marianne went on the go-karts and Marianne enjoyed holding the rabbits in pet corner.

Family Holiday in Wales 21st - 28th June

David, Tanya, Marianne and Reuben headed off to Wales (Laugharne to be exact) for a week to sunbathe (sorry, see the sights of Wales and get away for a week). We had a fantastic time and the weather was very kind to us (only rained/drizzled Thursday pm and Friday, which didn't really matter too much). Marianne spent some quality time with Daddy in the early evenings in the pub whilst Tanya stayed with Reuben having some quiet time and watching the tennis! We all caught the sun, especially Reuben who, out of the 4 of us, looked like he had been to the Caribbean!! Marianne had a half hour riding lesson and revelled in riding Scrumpy - however, at the end she started to close her eyes to go to sleep! We went to Pendine Sands a lot and Tenby a couple of times too. Other days we drove to Fishguard, Pembroke Dock, went to farms to see the animals and did a spot of shopping too.

David's Birthday - 15th June

It was David's birthday (and Father's Day) on Sunday 15th June and Tanya organised a surprise meal for David at our local, The Woodcock. There were 21 of us - David, Tanya, Marianne, Reuben, Sandra, Dave, Iris, Aidan, Lucy, Ethan, Lara-Mae, Rob, Pat, Barry, Helen, Carole, John, Sarah, Keith, Ami & Josh.

David's Parachute Jump - 14th June

On Saturday 14th June, David did his first parachute jump!!! Tanya bought if for David for his birthday present and organised for David's two best friends, Si and Hamish to meet him there for moral support. David was most definately surprised, but thoroughly enjoyed the experience and we all had a fantastic day.

Tanya & Georgina Reunite!

Tanya and Georgina have reunited after 16 years!!! George was my best friend at school and we didn't keep in touch after we left, which was very sad. We have always wondered what each other was up to and we finally found each other on Friends Reunited. We have slipped so easily into how it used to be and can't believe so much time has passed and how much catching up we still have to do. I am really happy (I think she is too) and have had lots of fun reminising about old times and are looking forward to having lots more fun in the future.
